Eat is a ling established sandwich shop that originated in London, it is in my mind similar to Pret a Manger, a Liverpool branch has just opened. It offers a clean simple cafe with a broad selection of sandwiches and soups along with fresh-made pies.
I popped in and grabbed a new York pastrami sandwich on malted brown bread. It was stuffed full of filling, with plenty of peppery pastrami and gherkin to give it a real kick, which is what this sandwich needs. The accompanying mustard mayo was ok but a slightly bigger dose of mustard would have been to my liking. A good effort and I will certainly pop back to try a pie sometime soon.
